The U.S. Women’s Open will end the 2020 major season. It’s the final event on a USGA calendar that was reduced to four events because of a global pandemic, and the next-to-last event on the LPGA’s competition calendar.

The championship will take place in Texas for just the second time in its history. The USGA will tap both the Cypress Creek and Jackrabbit courses at Champions Golf Club in Houston, a storied place that has hosted a number of big championships, from the hosted the 1967 Ryder Cup to the 1969 U.S. Open to the 1993 U.S. Amateur.
